A two-time Golf Photographer of the Year, I’ve spent more than a few years, 45 to be exact, photographing the game’s perennial champions and the world’s finest courses.  My photographs can be seen in all of the sport’s leading magazines including over 300 covers.  I’ve seen Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, the Big Three, through most of their careers; I was lucky enough to see Tom Watson chip-in at Pebble Beach; and I’ve seen the modern wonder, Tiger Woods, impress us all with his wizardry.

I’ve photographed the classic courses and new courses as well. Classics like St. Andrews, Ballybunnion, Royal Dornoch, Cypress Point and Augusta National.  Among the new, I’ve followed the  great living architects as they contour the landscape; Nicklaus, Dye, the Jones Family, Fazio, Doak, Crenshaw and his partner, Bill Coore, David Kidd and Tom Weiskopf.  They have given us unparalleled greatness in design, courses like Bandon and Pacific Dunes, Princeville, Muirfield Village, Huntsman Springs, Estancia and Troon CC.

In 1987, along with my friend, Larry Dennis, I was presented with the Herbert Warren Wind award by the United States Golf Association for my photographs in Robert Trent Jones, Golf’s Magnificent Challenge. In recent years, I’m proud to have worked with Michael Bartlett, the veteran golf writer, on two major books: The Estancia Club, an inside look at one of the world’s most exclusive golf clubs; and, Golf’s Finest Par Threes, The Art and Science of the One-Shot Hole. All of these books are available on Amazon.

Currently, I’m actively shooting for several golf course planners and recently completed photography for Rockwind Community Links, a very dramatic city-owned course in Hobbs, NM. The course has been created to appeal to all levels of golfer and has a very active First Tee program.

And as always, I continue to add to my personal portfolio, images found and images made. I shoot everyday. Photography is my life.
